Mayor Inday Sara Duterte has credited Dabawenyos for the success of the 82nd Araw ng Davao celebration as it concluded on Saturday with the civic-military parade.
Mayor Sara credited all Dabawenyos for the feat, saying, âEveryone had cooperated to ensure that the celebration would be hitch-free.â
âThe 82nd Araw ng Davao celebration was a success primarily because of the joint efforts of the local government and our private sector partners,â the mayor added.
She said that Davao once again has proven that it can successfully stage a high-impact event anytime because of everyoneâs willingness to cooperate.
Despite the formal end of the celebration, Sara said Dabawenyos and visitors can still enjoy what the city offers since there are still âAraw ng Davaoâ events lined up until the end of the month.
These are the Araw ng Davao Sports Festival 2019 and the Kalingawan sa Sta. Ana Food Fiesta and Entertainment Village, which will run during the remaining Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of March. CIO
