New Internal Quality Auditors undergo training on Auditing Management Systems

To fully equip the new Internal Quality Auditors of the Quality Management System (QMS), a training on ISO 19011:2018:Auditing Management Systems was conducted on March 9, 10, 13, and 14.

The course aims to develop the participants’ knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, techniques, and practices of performing an effective internal quality audit.
Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team Leader, Genevieve G. Gamueta, CPA, handled the lectures and workshops on introduction on Internal Quality Audit, the Audit Process, and Audit Documents.

Genevieve G. Gamueta stated that IQA is important because the Quality Management System will not continually function without such.

“I hope that this training will make you not only good Auditors but public servants with a heart willing to serve the Davaoeños. I cannot stress enough that we are, you are – a catalyst for change in the City Government of Davao. We need to thread forward so that together we will grow with our city,” QMS Leader, Atty. Sarah Phoebe L. Paclibar said.

Sushmita May Francisca O. Cubero, CPA, new Internal Quality Auditor, said, “I look forward to experience the IQA myself and I am excited to be a member of the IQA team – to the QMS as a whole, and be part of its success. And also to help improve the QMS of the City Government of Davao.”
