Davao City Public Security and Safety Office (PSSO) head Angel Sumagaysay, in a message to City Information Office (CIO) on Wednesday, said that the city government has deputized integrated security and safety personnel to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of the November 2022 Bar examinations in a local testing center (LTC) here in the city.

“For the venue security at the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) Campus, we deployed a total of 134 integrated safety and security personnel excluding the route and billet security. As of this report [Wednesday] 10 am, normal ang situation at venue ng bar exam (the situation is normal at the venue of the bar exam),” Sumagaysay said.

He added that the Supreme Court and the local government of Davao conducted a series of coordinating meetings for the conduct of the Bar exams here.

Based on the press briefer issued by the Supreme Court on November 8, 2022, a total of 780 bar takers are expected to participate in the four-day Bar exams starting November 9 at the Ateneo de Davao University-Senior High School, McArthur Highway in Barangay Bangkal.

Other examinees from Mindanao shall take their examinations at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan.

The remaining days for the 2022 Bar Examinations are set on November 13, 16, and 20.

Nationwide, the Supreme Court confirmed that a total of 9,821 examinees will participate in the first day of the November 2022 bar. CIO
