The Davao City Information Office (CIO) opened the “Hulagway sa Pasko” Photo Exhibit at the Abreeza Mall on Wednesday.
Jefry Tupas, the Chief Information Officer, led the opening of the exhibit, which showcases the various winning photographs during Hulagway photo contests in 2016 to 2018. Tupas conceptualized the 20-day photo exhibit.
Tupas, reading the message of Mayor Inday Sara Duterte, said the exhibit is a walk down memory lane of merriment during Christmas in Davao City.
“Each photo is a showcase of the talent and the blessings of Dabawenyos that have been lighting up our Christmas celebration,” the message reads.
“Thus, to this year’s participants, it is my hope that you will continue the tradition of the Hulagway sa Pasko Fiesta but with even greater joy and even greater passion as we highlight the objects of our children’s delight,” the message reads further.
Hulagway sa Pasko is an annual event initiated by the CIO. CIO
