In celebration of World Vasectomy Day, the Davao City Health Office (CHO) encourages the public to avail of their free no-scalpel vasectomy (NSV) services.

The NSV is a family planning method with a procedure that only lasts for around 10–15 minutes and requires minimal aftercare.

According to Ms. Jerrielyn Lewis, head of the Population Division of CHO, the office conducts free NSV service every last Friday of the month.

For November, the free NSV is scheduled on November 24 at Buhangin District Health Center.

Dabawenyos who wish to avail of the NSV service and have yet to register may send a message or call 0995 430 3818.

Further details and updates on the city’s NSV program can be found on the Facebook pages of the Davao City Health Office and the City Population Division Office. CIO
