The Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) reported that Davao City has achieved a total capitalization of Php 253, 388, 388, 474.76 for all businesses registered in the city.
On October 23, the DCIPC released the data from the Davao City Business Bureau detailing the amount of the total capitalization of all registered businesses in the city, as well as the total number of employees in business establishments and the number of business permits that they have successfully issued.
Based on the data from the City Business Bureau, 59.96% of the business establishments in the city are micro-enterprises while 6.08% of the total are large enterprises.
More than Php 220 billion of the total capitalization came from large enterprises while the rest came from the micro, small, and medium enterprises of the city.
Currently, the bureau has successfully issued a total of 44, 931 business permits, almost surpassing their 2022 record of 44, 935 issued business permits. CIO
