At least 90 Work for Davao beneficiaries, who have not yet claimed their salary of P3,960 each for a 10-day work, will start receiving it on Thursday morning, August 26, at the People’s Park.

Free vaccination and free RT-PCR testing will also be made available to them.

Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) Commissioner Norman Baloro, also the Davao City LGU Special Projects head, said, “This is an initiative of Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and the Davao City COVID-19 Task Force to have vaccination and swab testing after claiming their payout but it is not mandatory.”

The 90 recipients, according to him, were not able to claim their payout earlier as they may have missed the guidelines or requirements set during the orientation.

“Need man gud mag-submit og DTR (There’s a need to submit a DTR),” he said, adding that after the first payroll, there will be a daily payout as long as a new batch of payroll is released.

On the Work for Davao Facebook page, only those under the payroll will be served.

“Sa mga wala sa payroll among hangyo ang magpaabot. Ug hinaut inyong DTR kay tama, sakto ug na-submit gyod ninyo kini sa CSWDO panahon atong nahuman inyong 10 working days aron klaro nga naa kay paaboton (For those who are not on the payroll yet, please wait for your turn. We hope that your DTRs are correct and submitted to the CSWDO after your 10 working days so that you can be certain that you are going to wait for something),” the announcement said.

To claim the subsidy, beneficiaries must bring one valid ID, accomplishment report photos, DQR ID, and ballpen.

If unable to personally claim the payout, a beneficiary can authorize a family member as representative but he or she must also bring a valid ID, a photocopy of the ID with three signatures on the side, and an authorization letter. All IDs must be photocopied.

If the subsidy remains unclaimed, it will have to be returned and a new voucher will have to be processed again, which would mean a longer waiting time for the beneficiaries. With this, the Work for Davao Facebook admin appealed to the recipients to claim their payout as soon as they can.CIO
