Davao COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser said the City Health Office (CHO)-managed vaccination sites are now open for walk-ins since the city received a lot of vaccines, particularly Pfizer.

By walk-in, she said that interested vaccinees can register and receive the vaccine on site.

“Katong previous months nato pinakaproblema sa atong katawhan gusto sila magpa-vaccine dili sila ka avail kay dili allowed ang walk-in. Hulaton pa ang ilang prioritization o priority groups pero karon they can avail the vaccine sa tanang mga hubs (In previous months, the public’s main problem was they want to get vaccinated but they cannot avail of it yet since walk-ins were not allowed. They had to wait for their prioritization or priority groups but now they can avail of the vaccine in all vaccination hubs),” Dr. Schlosser said.

As of October 16, a total of 821,395 got their first jabs in Davao City or 68.45 percent of the target 1.2 million herd immunity and 691,666-second jabs have been administered or 57.64 percent herd immunity. CIO
