Services being offered at the Davao City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Building are also accessible in CCRO district offices.
CRO Tugbok District head Eduardo Yarso, during the Madayaw Davao program of 87.5 FM Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) aired Tuesday, February 28, said: “Kung unsa mga services sa central office sa SP, amo gihapon gina-cater sa Tugbok (Whatever services that the central office at SP provides, we also offer them in Tugbok).”
The available services include application for marriage license, birth delayed registration, birth timely registration, death delayed registration, death timely registration, out-of-town registration, registration of court decrees, registration of legal instruments, and petition for correction of entry (CCE) or change of first name (CFN) under RA 9048.
Yarso said their office is located on the second floor of the Mintal Civic Center, wherein the City Treasurer’s Office Tugbok District occupies the ground floor.
“Kung unsa man inyong concerns sa local civil registry, example, anak nga wala pa marehistro, pwede mo pa late registration. Kung gikan pagkatao unya mulampas 30 days, considered na as late registration. Dapat iparehistro dayon aron dili pa gyud mulapas sa 30 days aron mahimong timely ang registration (If you have any concerns about the LCR, for example, a child who is not yet registered, you can register late. If it goes beyond 30 days, it is considered late registration. Register your child as soon as possible so that it does not exceed 30 days for the registration to be timely),” he said.
For unregistered seniors, at least two documents will be required to process the delayed registration, including baptismal certificate, senior citizen, or Philhealth record. A Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) negative result as proof of no birth record is also a must.
Yarso added that those needing PSA copies could also proceed to the Tugbok District office so they don’t have to go to Cabaguio Avenue, endure the long queue, and pay expensive fares. For every PSA copy, the CCRO Tugbok District Office will collect P255 (P155 for the PSA copy, P100 service fee) with official receipts.
He said their office is more accessible to residents of the 18 barangays in Tugbok District than the CCRO main office or the PSA regional office. CIO
