The Davao City Tourism Operations Office underscored that the event promises a memorable Christmas gathering with raffle prizes awaiting lucky winners.

A consolation prize of P25,000 will be given away to the losing entries.
The Snack Bazaar, meanwhile, will run until December 24, which also marks the end of the Simbang Gabi, a nine-day devotional series of Masses by Filipino Catholics to celebrate Christmas.
On its official Facebook page, the Davao City Tourism Operations Office bared that a variety of local delectable Pinoy delicacies, popularly known as `kakanin,’ will be displayed at the Snack Bazaar. “Uniquely Filipino, these are sweet munchies or sometimes desserts made from rice, sweet rice or root crops that are slow cooked and usually made with coconut milk,” it wrote.
On the other hand, the Sayaw sa Pasko Fiesta elimination round will get underway at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, at the Rizal Park, while the Banda Dasig is set at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, at the San Pedro Square.
Banda Dasig event organizer Harold Quibete said all systems go for the marching band competition, which will have 14 entries in the elementary category and another 14 in the open category, which allows high school, college, and community-based groups.
“Mura’g (It’s like) field demonstration, a more flamboyant version of Hudyaka that is done in every Araw ng Dabaw,” Quibete said in a previous interview.
Banda Dasig category grand champions will each pocket P300,00 cash, while the next four placers will take home P200,000, P100,000, P75,000, and P50,000. Non-winners will receive a consolation prize of P30,000 each, and a similar amount will be awarded to the best conductor. CIO
