A total of 8,489 Dabawenyos has availed of the anti-Covid booster dose through the Davao City Sangguniang Panlungsod Mobile Vaccination which continued to roll out in the barangays.
“Nagpadayon gihapon ni wala niundang, bisan paman nag luag na ang mga restrictions sa Davao City kay ang atong tumong bisan pa tung una is mabakunahan ang tanang Dabawenyo para maprotektahan ang matag usa sa Davao City (We have not stopped even though some of the restrictions in Davao City have been relaxed because our goal is to vaccinate all Dabawenyos for each and everyones’ protection),” Harvey Lanticse of the Office of the Vice Mayor said in an interview over the Davao City Disaster Radio Thursday.
Aside from booster doses, Lanticse said that the mobile vaccination administered 116,023 first doses and 86,070 for the second doses, with the inclusion of those administered with the single-dose Covid-19 vaccines, the mobile vaccination drive was able to serve 89,225 individuals.
Lanticse said that their office is still catering also door-to-door vaccination.
Davao City Covid-19 Task Force Dr. Michelle Schlosser in an interview Friday said that the city has enough vaccines to cater to those who want to be vaccinated. Besides the mobile vaccination, Schlosser said that Dabawenyos can also avail of the anti-Covid vaccines at the fixed vaccination sites and the door-to-door vaccination.
The vaccination cluster will also start soon the weekend vaccination for those who cannot go to vaccination sites during weekdays. CIO
