The Davao City Covid-19 Task Force has urged Dabawenyos to frequently monitor the city’s webpage or its Facebook account for available slots to reserve schedules for anti-Covid vaccination in any city-run vaccination sites.
During the Bida Bakunado Program over the Davao City Disaster Radio on Friday, Covid-19 Task Force Spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser said the announcement for the vaccination slots will be posted on the Davao City Government page from time to time. If there is an open slot, Dabawenyos can reserve a schedule on the online vaccination scheduler – https://profiles.safe-davao.com/.
āThey may check the FB page of Davao City for the vaccination schedule,ā she said.
On September 17, the city government announced through its FB page the opening of 500 slots at the Vicente Hizon Sr. Elem and USEP Obrero Gym.
Dabawenyos, who will miss their chance at their scheduled vaccination or cannot be accommodated, just need to follow the official City Government of Davao Facebook for new announcement of new slots.
Schlosser said that as a form of expansion the vaccination availability, the city is eyeing Almendras Gym as another site to be listed on the online vaccination scheduler.
She added that a pilot testing for the online vaccination scheduler was done at the Almendras gym on September 10. The system is currently undergoing improvement so that it can be fully used soon. CIO
