Davao City community residents in the five political districts will feast on 10,000 pieces of an all-time Filipino favorite – the Jollibee chickenjoy for keeping low coronavirus cases since the lockdown in March.
On Friday (May 29, 2020), each winning district will receive 2,000 pieces of chickenjoy with rice and drinks, a reward from Mayor Inday Sara Duterte for responding to her challenge on April 22, 2020 to keep coronavirus cases low.
Mayor Sara announced that the winning districts are Baguio District, Calinan District, Tugbok District, Toril District, and Marilog District. The distribution will be led by their respective barangay captains.
Mayor Inday Sara wished that the winning districts will no longer see an increase of coronavirus cases in their areas.
“Sana ay wala nang madagdag sa mga positives ninyo. ‘Yan lang ang aking tanging wish ko para sa inyo (I hope your positive cases will not increase. That’s my only wish for you),” Mayor Sara said. CIO
