The Davao City government has rolled out its second round of food rationing with 197,100 grocery packs distributed in 75 barangays in the city.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) is expected to continue distributing food packs in the coming days to cover the city’s 182 barangays. During the first round, the CSWDO distributed a total of 428,571 grocery packs in all barangays.

On the other hand, the City Agriculturist Office and the City Veterinarianā€™s Office (Agri-Vet), which have been distributing fresh produce to the different villages in the city, already covered a total of 36,483 beneficiaries since April 2.

ā€œNagasuporta ni sila sa trabaho sa CSWDO by making sure nga katong dili mahatagan og grocery packs, mahatagan silaā€™g fresh produce na mga pagkaon na manok, baboy, ug gulay (They are supporting the CSWDO by making sure that those who were not given grocery packs will be given fresh produce of food like chicken, pork, and vegetables),ā€ she said.
