Mayor Inday Sara Duterte has given the Davao City City Police Office (DCPO) and the Task Force Davao a good rating in ensuring the safety and security of Dabawenyos.
Mayor Inday cited the zero major incidents since the September 2016 Roxas night market bombing that left over a dozen persons and scores injured.
âAcknowledging the fact that there are no terrorist activities in the city for the past year after the September 2, 2016 bombing, the security forces have made great efforts,â she said.
Mayor Inday said the security measures being implemented by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and the Task Force Davao are admirable.
âThe success of a peaceful city can be attributed to the totality of the security implementation. Everything must be coherent with each other to ensure that the people can live peacefully,â she stressed.
Mayor Inday even commended the DCPO and TF Davao during the recent quarterly meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) for sacrificing their lives and family time just to keep the secured. CIO
