The City Government of Davao, through the Business Bureau and other concerned offices, will set up a one-stop shop renewal of Mayor’s Permit and business permits starting January 3, 2019.

“It’s all systems go for the renewal of business permits at the Central Office Processing Center at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Building,” Business Bureau Chief and lawyer Marissa Torentera said.

To accommodate the expected large number of people renewing their business permits and to make the processing more accessible, the city has identified a remote site for the processing, which is located at the Almendras Gym or the Davao City Recreation Center.

For the first week of January 2019, the renewal of the business permits will be â€Șfrom 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.‬ of January 3 and 4.

“We will be accepting applications on weekdays â€Șfrom 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.‬ at both the SP Center and the remote site at Almendras Gym,” she said.

Both the SP and the Almendras Gym processing centers will also be open â€Șon Saturday, January 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.‬

The requirements for those renewing their business and mayor’s permits are: previous Mayor’s and Business Permits, previous receipts, notarized list of all employees, and authority to transact the renewal of the Mayor’s Permit with the Business Bureau – a Special Power of Attorney for Sole Proprietorship, Secretary Certificate for Corporations and Partnership Resolution for Partnerships.

Also needed are: clear photocopy of valid IDs of all signatories, original Barangay Clearance for business purposes, Fire Safety Inspection Certificate, Certified copy of proof of exemption, if any, and available financial statement of the previous year. CIO
