To develop an in-depth understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS) concepts, principles, and requirements, a four-day training on ISO 9001:2015 QMS Requirements and Documentation was held in the second week of November.
The said activity, which was attended by representatives from selected offices, discussed the major clauses of ISO 9001:2015.

Also, the participant gained a deeper understanding of internal and external issues, the seven quality management principles, QMS scope, QMS Requirements, Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Defining Nonconformity.

The interactive lecture helped the participants relate the systems and processes of the City Government of Davao’s conformance to the ISO 9001 requirements.

“This training instilled in me a deep appreciation for the interplay between systematic approaches and organizational success, amplifying my commitment to implementing and upholding ISO standards within our company,’’ Darlene R. Patayan, an attendee from the City Budget Office, said.

The City Government of Davao remains committed to fulfilling the needs and expectations of its customers through the continuous capacity-building of its employees, especially in ISO 9001:2015.
